  POKOS
    
  Elizabeth P. Pokos, 48, of N. Merrick, N.Y., and Miami, Fla., and
  formerly of Boswell, died June 2, 1979 at Mercy Hospital, Rockville
  Center, Long Island, N.Y.  Born Oct. 3, 1930 in Boswell, a daughter
  of John S. and Theresa (Pokos) Pokos.  Preceded in death by parents,
  one brother, Matthew and one sister, Catherine.  Survived by these
  brothers and sisters: Mary, wife of Orestes Kalafatis of Long Island,
  N.Y.; Teresa, wife of Charles Fearon of Brooklyn, N.Y.; John of
  Boswell married to the former Stella Kubas; Ann, wife of Stanley
  Kogut of Jerome; Christine, wife of Robert Murphy of Long Island,
  N.Y.; and Louis of Gansevoort, New York, married to the former Deanie
  Crowe; also numerous nieces and nephews.  She was a member of SS.
  Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Miami, graduate of Boswell High
  School, Class of 1948, St. Catherine's School of Nursing, New York,
  Class of 1957, and Florida International University Class of 1976;
  registered nurse, employed as assistant director, Mederi Inc., Miami,
  and member of the American Nurses Association.  Friends received from
  2-9 p.m. Monday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny
  Strett [sic], Boswell, where Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m.
  Monday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's
  Catholic Church, Boswell, with the Rev. Samuel J. Tomaselli
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Laurel Cemetery.
