Policicchio, 51, of 427 Stonycreek St., Boswell, died unexpectedly Sept. 6, 1978 at home. Born April 3, 1927 in Jenners, she was a daughter of Pasquale J. and Madeline M. (Crusco) Codispoti. Preceded in death by father, who died March 17, 1944. She was survived by her mother of Jenners; her husband, Gregory; and her daughters, Maria and Josephine, both at home. She was a sister of Mildred M., wife of James E. Hancock, Boswell; Domenic J., married to the former Elizabeth Malatesta, Pittsburgh; Angelo J., married to the former Jeanette Pucci, Boswell RD 2; Anthoney B., married to the former Concetta Tedesco of New York City; John N., married to the former Claire Greene, Ramsey, N.J.; Vincent G., of West Hartford, Conn.; and Nathan J. of Jenners. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Boswell and St. Anne's and St. Barbara's Sodalities; member and secretary of Boswell Lodge No. 1780, Sons of Italy; and secretary of District 9 Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Sons of Italy. A member of the North Star Band Boosters and graduate of the former Boswell High School Class of 1946. Was a tax collector of Boswell Borough for the past eight years and associated with Gregs Tavern Inc. of Boswell. Friends are being received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell where Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanilaus Catholic Church in Boswell with the Rev. Jordan Chrzanowski OFM Conv. officiating. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
