Policicchio, 79, Center Street, Boswell, went to be with his Lord, Oct. 31, 1998, at St. John's Specialty Care Center, Mars. Born Sept. 1, 1919, in Boswell, son of James and Giovanna "Jennie" (Trigonna) Policicchio. Preceded in death by parents, and infant brother and a brother, Tony. Survived by wife, former Helen A. Webnick; daughters, Patricia DeConcilis of Brownsville, and Joan, wife of George Kinder, Gibsonia; grandchildren, Julie and Chelsea DeConcilis, Jeff and Lauren Kinder. Brother of Rose Maruca, Annette Lamonica, Caroline Baird, Marshall and James J., all of Boswell; and Bruno of Washington, D.C. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Boswell Lodge No. 1780, Sons of Italy; Somerset Post No. 554, VFW; Boswell Post No. 461, American Legion, Jenner Rod and Gun Club and the Boswell Area Historical Society. Graduate of the former Boswell High School. Army Veteran of World War II. Barbered in Boswell with cousin Bruno for over 49 years. Observed 49th wedding anniversary Sept. 24, 1998. Member of the former JBJ Joint School Board for several terms. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Maint Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday and S.O.I. service at 7 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m., Tuesday at All Saint Church. Rev. Father Martin Breski, OFM, Conv. celebrant. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery.
