  POMPELLI
  
  Jean Yvonne Pompelli, a former Somerset County resident, died Dec. 15
  in Arlington, Va.  Her former husband, John Pompelli and her parents
  Margaret and Walter Gonder preceded her in death.  She was the loving
  mother of Col. Beth A. Robinson, McLean, Va., and Greg Pompelli,
  Vienna, Va., and grandmother of Nicholas Walter Pompelli.  A graduate
  of the University of Pittsburgh and Somerset High School teacher, she
  was the first female territorial sales manager Sunbeam Appliance
  Corp.  After retiring in 1981, she became a real estate investor and
  later operated an executive placement service.  A memorial service
  will be held this spring in Gray.
