Born March 25, 1922 in Northampton Township, Somerset County. Son of the late Ralph A. and Edna Witt Poorbaugh. Survived by his wife, the former Pauline Musser, two sons, Craig of Indian Lake and James G. at home. He was a brother of Mrs. Edward (Marlene) Teichert, Providence, R.I.; Mrs. Vernon (Thelma) Zeitler of Lake Jackson, Texas; Karl W. of Somerset. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset Lodge No. 358 F. and A. M., Harrisburg Consistery, Jaffa Temple, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Shade Lions Club, Somerset Aero Club, Past President of the Somerset County Shrine Club. Served with the U.S. Air Force during WW II, and was a co-owner of the Poorbaugh Lumber Company Funeral service will be held at noon Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. Private interment services at 3 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, under the direction of the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.
