  POORBAUGH
  
    Elsie J. Poorbaugh, 86, of Glencoe died Aug. 20, 1994, at
  Meyersdale Hospital.  Born Feb. 6, 1908, in Allegheny Township. 
  Daughter of Moses L. and Mary (Landis) Leister.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Samuel J.; daughter, Susan Carol; brothers, John,
  James, and Elwood Leister, and a sister, Beulah Raupach.  Survived by
  these children:  Betty Snow, Kensington, Md.; Samuel W., married to
  the former Darlene Warne, Glencoe; Mrs. Elwood (Mary) Garlitz,
  Berlin; Ray E., married to the former Wilda Palm, Alexandria, Va.;
  Jane Austin, Herndon, Va.; Mrs. Raymond (Dorothy) Rhone, York;
  Richard W., married to former Nancy Rogers, State College, and Mrs.
  Robert (Bonnie) Mulvihill, Ligonier.  Also 23 grandchildren and 26
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Dorothy Smith, Sipesville; Martha
  Dickey, Berlin, and Luke Leister of Glencoe.  Member of New Hope
  United Church of Christ.  Charter member of Hillcrest Grange.  Family
  received friends Sunday and will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.  Viewing from 10 a.m.
  until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Hope U.C.C., Route
  160 south of Berlin, Rev. Steven Heintz and Rev. Ralph Landis. 
  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given
  to New Hope U.C.C., RD 4 Meyersdale, PA 15552 or to the charity of
  your choice.
