Poorbaugh, 60 of Somerset, died Feb. 27, Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Dec. 9, 1915 in Somerset, a son of James L. and Emma Miller Poorbaugh. Survived by his widow, former Viola M. Coy and two children: Mrs. William (Patricia) Barron, Dallas, Tx., Mrs. Franklin (Becky Jo) Bittner, Berlin; one grandson, and a sister, Miss Fern E. Poorbaugh of Uniontown. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset F. and A.M. Lodge No. 358, Pittsburgh Consistory, United Transportation Union and veteran of World War II. Friends received after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Services Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home officiating will be Rev. C. L. Rummel. Interment, Husband Cemetery. Masonic services will be Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the United Methodist Church building fund. Somerset American, February 28, 1976 [P0804]
