Mrs. Poorbaugh who was only 19 years of age was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Glessner of near Berlin. In March 1916 she was married to Thos. Poorbaugh a son of Mr. and Mrs. N. B. Poorbaugh of Northampton Township. Some time ago in visiting relatives she was injured in jumping from a buggy near Mt. Lebanon. After much suffering she was taken to the hospital in Akron where she died. Besides her husband parents there survive two brothers, Howard and Sherman, and one sister, Emma. The remains were brought east for burial on June 9th services being held at Hay's Church, her pastor, Rev. H. H. Wiant, officiating. Meyersdale Commercial, June 22,1916
