All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ ROSE ANN POORBAUGH FAIRHOPE, March 29 - Mrs. Uriah Poorbaugh died very suddenly Saturday while Mr. Poorbaugh was in Berlin attending the funeral of Mrs. Jonas Saylor, a sister-in-law of Mrs. Poorbaugh. When Mr. Poorbaugh returned home about 6:30 in the evening he found his wife lying dead in the yard. She had apparently been dead several hours, her death having been caused by apoplexy. She was in good health when Mr. Poorbaugh left home Saturday morning. She is survived by her husband, four daughters and three sons. The children are Mrs. Celia Miller and Freeman Poorbaugh of Dividing Ridge; Mrs. Margaret Logue and Frank Poorbaugh, of Berlin; Mrs. Emma Miller, Somerset; Mrs. Anna Lafferty, Camp Run, and George Poorbaugh of Madley, Pa. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion Church, Wednesday afternoon, with burial in the church cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, March 31, 1932
