  MARIE LORETTA POPLO
  
    Marie Loretta Poplo, 69, of Wellersburg, died Jan. 2, 1982 in
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    She was born in San [sic] Patch, and was a daughter of the late
  Garfield and Lucy (Blank) Bittner.
    She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mount Savage,
  and was a former employee of the Amcelle Plant of Celanese Fibers
  Corporation.
    Twice married, Mrs. Poplo was preceded in death by her first
  husband Floyd (Bud) Witt, who died in 1943.  Her second husband,
  Jospeh Poplo survives.  She is also survived by a stepdaughter, Mrs.
  Mary Cecil, LaVale, Md.; a brother, Wilbert Bittner, Corriganville,
  Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Uhl, LaVale, Md. and Mrs. Cleda Sturtz,
  Wellersburg, and three step-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence.
    A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Patrick's Church,
  Mount Savage.  Interment was in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
