  Francis E. "Pete" Popovich, 34, Philadelphia, formerly of Somerset,
  died Aug. 1, 1988 in Philadelphia.  Born Aug. 7, 1953 in Somerset,
  son of Mr. and Mrs. John Popovich Jr., Berlin RD 4.  Preceded in
  death by brother, Daniel J.  Survived by his wife, the former Linda
  Mostoller; son, Nicholas John; and paternal grandfather, John
  Popovich Sr., Berlin RD 3.  Member of St. Peter and Paul's Orthodox
  Church, Goodtown, and Laborers Union Local 57.  Construction worker
  for I.A. and Buckley Co., Philadelphia.  Former truck driver.  Former
  member of the Company C Pa. National Guard, Somerset.  Family will
  receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  BERLIN, where Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  Divine
  liturgy and burial service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St.
  Peter and Paul's Orthodox Church, Goodtown, by the Rev. John
  Govrusik.  Interment, Pine Hill Orthodox Cemetery.
