  POPOVICH
  
    John Popovich Sr., 95, Berlin RD 3, died July 16, 1990, at Forbes
  Regional Health Center, Monroeville.  Born May 11, 1895, in
  Austria.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Alice
  Wasilko; sons, Francis "Paul," and Nick; also three grandsons and one
  great-grandson.  Survived by these children:  Mary Shawley, Trafford;
  Mrs. Alfred (Ann) Fisco, Teaneck, N.J.; Charles and wife, Emma Jane
  Walker, of Riverside, Calif.; John Jr. and wife, Joan Ann Cassel,
  Berlin RD 4; Frank and wife, Margaret Trulick, Berlin RD 3; Mike and
  wife, Patricia, Baltimore, Md.; George and wife, Arlene, Branchville,
  N.J.; and Steve and wife, Carmen, Marino Valley, Calif.; also numerous
  grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 
  Retired coal miner and farmer.  A member of SS. Peter and Paul's
  Orthodox Church, Goodtown, and U.M.W.A.  Family will receive friends
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  Parastas will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  Divine Liturgy and burial
  service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul's
  Orthodox Church, Rev. John Govrusik.  Interment, Pine Hill Cemetery.
