MARY E. PORE

Attended Mother's Funeral

  D. H. Pore returned recently from Mount Pleasant where he attended the funeral 
of his mother, Mrs. Mary E. Pore, who died in Mount Pleasant Township on January 
23rd.   She was the widow of George L. Pore, who died four years ago.  Mrs. Pore 
reached the age of 81 years.  She was the mother of eight children of whom four 
preceded her to the grave.  The following survive:  Harry F. Pore, Pittsburgh; 
D. H. Pore, Confluence; S. C. Pore and Mrs. Lizzie Christner, Mount Pleasant.  
She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  
Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 25, at 2 p.m., at her late 
residence.  Interment in the Middle Church Cemetery in Mount Pleasant Township.
