  MRS. EMMA PORTER
  
    Mrs. Emma A. Porter, 95, of Mt. Savage died December 16 at the
  Bowman Nursing Home where she was admitted in August.
    Mrs. Porter formerly resided with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Sweene.
    Born in Mt. Savage, she was the daughter of the late John A. and
  Christina (Hergott) Sweene.
    She was a member of St. George Episcopal Church and St. Anne's
  Chapter of the church, and of the church choir for 60 years.
    Mrs. Porter was the last of her immediate family.  Surviving are a
  number of nieces and nephews, including three nieces she reared, Mrs.
  Malvina Barchus, Salisbury and Florida; Mrs. Emily Barber, Wappingers
  Falls, N.Y.; and Mrs. Christine Davenport, San Marcos, Calif.
    Funeral services were held Saturday at St. George Episcopal Church
  with Rev. William Haire officiating.  Interment, church cemetery in
  charge of Durst funeral Home.
