   Richard Bruce Porter, 73, Rockwood, died April 1, 2006, at his residence. Born Oct. 18,
  1932, in McKeesport, the son of the late Richard Rheam and Mabel Edna (Springer) Porter.
  Survived by wife of 49 years, the former Beatrice "Betty" D'Alberto; sons, Frank Porter
  and wife Joanne, Basking Ridge, N.J., Bruce Porter and wife Donna, Rockaway, N.J.,
  Richard and Todd Porter, both of Caldwell, N.J.; grandchildren, Michael, BG, Damian and
  Skylar. A 1950 graduate of Clifford Scott High School and a graduate of Julliard Academy
  where he studied acting and dance. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had 15
  years as a self-employed contractor until his retirement in 1995. He also attended the
  Middlecreek Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. today at
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, with a service following at 4 p.m. The Rev. Nancy
  Good officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made to the Middlecreek Church of the Brethren, Middlecreek Road,
  Rockwood, PA 15557.
