  PORTER
  
    Richard R. Porter, 87, Rockwood RD 2, died Oct. 29, 1995, at his
  residence.  Born Dec. 29, 1908, in Clearfield.  Son of late Orrin
  Bruce and Lottie M. (Probst) Porter.  Also preceded in death by two
  brothers and two sisters.  Survived by his wife, the former Mabel S.
  Springer, and a son, Bruce Porter of Cedar Grove, N.J.; 4
  grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Retired engineer for Lummus
  Corp.  Former employee of the Pa. Game Commission.  Family and friends
  will gather at 10 a.m. Tuesday.  Graveside services will be held at
  10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Somerset County Memorial Park, the Rev. William
  J. Sleasman officiating.
