Born March 15, 1018 in Sagamore, daughter of John and Mary (Kosiniski) Gromoski. Preceded in death by parents, husband Houston, daughter Catherine Potochar, brother Joseph Gromoski, and sister Frances Brunberger. Survived by these children: Houston, and friend Ginny, Hummett, Toms River, N.J.; Frank, married to the former Anne Bailey, Bunn, N.C.; Julie, wife of Casmir Skala and Edward, married to the former Josephine Kohler, both of N.J.; Steven, married to the former Deanna Sloan, Windber; Stanley married to the former Margaret Sweeney, Cranberry, N.J. and Michael married to the former Beth Ann Sanner, Markleton. Also 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Sister of John Gromoski, Harrisburg, Frank Gromoski, Stratford, Conn., and Julie Gorel, N. Conway, N.H. Also special friends Annie and Essie. Mrs. Potochar was formerly a pie baker for former TOPS Diner. Member of SS. Cyril and Methodius' Catholic Church, Windber, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Matthew Misurda pastor. Committal church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Meek Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held at in the afternoon.
