   Harold M. Potter, Jr., 79, of Ripley, W.Va., died Thursday, December 29, 2005, at
  Jackson General Hospital. Born March 30, 1926, in Evening Shade, Arkansas, he was the
  son of the late Harold M. Potter, Sr. and Opal (Brickell) Potter. He was preceded in
  death by beloved sister, Mary M. Nye. He is survived by sister Janice Forney and husband
  Richard Forney of Meyersdale; daughter Laura Shubert of McKees Rocks; stepson Kenneth
  Brock and wife Lisa of Rock Hill, S.C.; four grandchildren and one nephew. He was
  retired from Burke Parsons and Bowlby, Ripley. He was a member of the National Hardwood
  Association, Meyersdale F&M Lodge #554, served in the United States Air Force during
  World War II, and was a member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren Memorial service
  will be held at the convenience of the family.
