  Catherine Marie Powell, 95, of Somerset, formerly of Stoystown and
  Kantner, died Feb. 5, 2003 at Somerset Patriot Manor.  Born May 8,
  1907 in Kantner a daughter of Ross Morrell and Myrtle May (Spect)
  Rininger.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, James Dillon Powell
  who died May 9, 1988 and 14 brothers and sisters.  Survived by
  children, Mrs. Gloria Marie Hunt of New Florence and Mrs. Nancy Ann
  Bowers of Stoystown; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and
  four great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Mary Koontz,
  Windber.  Member of Kantner United Methodist Church and charter
  member of the Sunshine Bible Class.  No viewing or visitation.  A
  private service will be conducted Friday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home, Somerset, with Rev. William J. Blair officiating.  Interment
  Stoystown IOOF Cemetery.
