   Hazel L. Powell, 96, Somerset, formerly of Stoystown RD 2, died Aug. 9, 2006, at Siemon
  Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Nov. 18, 1909, in Shade Township, daughter of Luther and Clara
  (Crum) Lohr. Preceded in death by parents; husband Kenneth; infant daughter Jolene;
  sisters Ada Lentz, Alice Crum, and Gladys Lambert; and brothers Jesse, Horace, Clark, and
  Harrison Lohr. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel was a former Shade Township
  Auditor. She was a charter member of Central City Christian Church. Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Randy Reynolds officiating. Interment,
  Otterbein Cemetery, Wilbur. Instead of flowers, contributions may be given to Central City
  Christian Church, Lambert Street, Central City, PA 15926.
