  POWELL
  
  J. Anson Powell, 66, of Stoystown RD 2, died May 31, 1980 at home. 
  He was born March 31, 1914, in Shade Township, son of Willis and
  Gertrude (Berkebile) Powell.  Preceded in death by parents; brother,
  Kenneth; sisters, Ethel Lohr, Marion Berkheimer and Maude Wagner. 
  Survived by brothers, James, Stoystown RD 3; and Harry, Stoystown RD
  2.  He was a member of the Otterbeim United Methodist Church and was
  a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA Local 998.  Friends are
  being received at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will
  be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn.  Interment,
  Otterbeim Cemetery.
