MALINDA M. POWELL

  Mrs. Malinda (McVicker) Powell, 85, of Buffalo Mills R.D., died Thursday, 
August 12, at her home.  She was born June 13, 1863, a daughter of James and 
Amelia (Fleegle) McVicker.  Her husband, George Powell, died in 1935.
  She is survived by a son, Blair Powell, of Fairhope R.D., and two daughters, 
Mrs. Sibert A. Slick of Windber and Mrs. Emmons Buchanan of Buffalo Mills R.D.; 
four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Adams of 
Hyndman and Mrs. Ella Denner, Berlin R.D. 5, and a brother, Ross McVicker of 
Johnstown.
  She was a member of the United Brethren Church.
  Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Buchanan, in 
Buffalo Mills, Saturday, August 14, at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. C. A. Raley 
officiating.  Interment was made in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of 
Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians.
