Born Sept. 22, 1880, in Shade Township, daughter of Frank and Mary (Lohr) Rodgers. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Sylvester; son, Rush; and daughters, Millie and Blanche. Survived by son, Rodger, married to former Marie Brenner, Idaho; Mrs. Lindsay (Mollie) Putman, Hooversville; Mrs. Milton (Ruth) McElhenny, Somerset; Mrs. Harry (Freda) Willett, Canton, Ohio; Mrs. William (Gussie) Bennett, Hemet, Calif.; and Mrs. Gerald (Winifred) Moorehead, Canton, Ohio; also 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, where she was the eldest member. Friends received from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and until time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, the Rev. H. Donald Lash. Interment, Otterbein Cemetery.
