  CLARA E. POWERS
  
    Clara E. Powers, 93, formerly of 716 Sylvan Avenue, Cumberland,
  Md., died Tuesday, May 13, 1986, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
  Dorothy E. Heavener, 216 Valley Street.
    Born in Cumberland, Md., she was a daughter of the late George
  Eline and Della (Twigg) Eline.  Her husband, Elmer C. Powers,
  preceded her in death.
    She was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ),
  where she was deacon emeritus.
    She was the mother of 12 children, seven who survive.
    Besides Mrs. Heavener, she is survived by three sons: Charles E.
  Powers, Wellersburg; Paul L. Powers and Robert D. Powers, both of
  Cumberland, Md.; three daughters: Mrs. Nellie C. Hook, Cumberland,
  Md.; Mrs. Margaret V. Kerns, Oldtown, Md.; Mrs. Mildred I. Huff,
  Mount Savage, Md.; a brother, Charles E. Eline, Cumberland, Md.; nine
  grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Kight Funeral Home.
