Born July 17, 1926 in W.Va. The son of the late James Adam and Martha Dillow Prentice. Also preceded in death by his sister Anna Ruth Christopher and brother Woodrow Prentice. Survived by wife Mary O. Grice Prentice and three daughters, LuAnne and Glenn Williams of Fallowfield Township, Sueann and Andy Ottoviani of Butler, Sherry and Tom Cramer of Fallowfield Township. One son, Rick and his wife Judy Prentice of Nashua, N.H. Two step-daughters Jane and Donald Marinelli of Shadyside, and Lee Grice of Pittsburgh. One sister, Mrs. Hazlett (Carol) Pierce of Marianna, eight grandchildren, Lisa Williams, Christopher and Shannon Prentice, Shelly Pelzer and Heather Tuman, Travis and Meredith Woodall and Olivia Marinelli. Mr. Prentice was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Coal Center. He was retired from General Motors Fisher Body Plant in West Mifflin after 48 years. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev.
