    Alice "Olene" Stutzman Boyer Preston, beloved wife and mother, 78, Stoystown,
  surrendered her soul to the Lord, July 9, 2006, at her daughter's home in Bakersville.
  Born Aug. 5, 1927 in Stoystown, a daughter of Wilbur Brant and Elda Grace Stutzman.
  She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles "Lindy"
  Boyer; and a son-in-law, Donald F. Schrock. Survived by her husband, the Rev. Owen
  Preston; children; Barry Boyer and wife, Judith Ann, Concord, N.C.; Judy Zeigler and her
  fiancˇ, Rick Rosser, Fort Myers, Fla.; Joyce Ditzler Schrock, Bakersville; stepdaughter,
  Linda Sines and her husband, David, Oakland, Md.; grand-children; Melissa, Melinda,
  Michelle, Michael, Matthew, Jaime, and Jeffrey; great- grandchildren; Marissa, Connor,
  Samuel, Grace, and Amaya. Also survived by a sister, Donna Lee Brant. She retired from
  both Somerset Hospital and the U.S. Post office, Stoystown after more than 30 years of
  service, each. Member of OES 138, Somerset; American Legion Auxiliary 257, Stoystown; the
  Stoyestown Historical Society, and Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown. She also attended
  Trinity United Church of Christ, Roxbury. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Additional viewing from 12 p.m.
  until time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown, the Rev.
  Walter Startzel officiating. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
  memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Stoyestown Historical Society P.O.
  Box 11, Stoystown, PA 15563. A full luncheon will be served following the interment.
