ANNA PRICE

  Mrs. Anna Catherine Virginia Price, 88, widow of Rev. Charles J. Price, who 
had been ill since last May, died Friday, Feb. 8, at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. J. M. Phillips of Cumberland.  Funeral services were held at the latter's 
home, Tuesday afternoon, Dr. Walter Marion Michael, pastor of the Center Street 
Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Price was a faithful member officiated.  
Interment in St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Cumberland.
  Mrs. Price was well known in the Grantsville community and Grantsville 
Methodist charge as Rev. Price served two pastorates here, several years in his 
early ministry, and three years beginning in 1920, retiring from the West 
Virginia Conference soon after.  Rev. Price died several years ago in 
Cumberland.
  Surviving besides Mrs. Phillips are two other daughters, Mrs. W. W. Morris, 
Fairmont, W.Va., and Mrs. H. F. Price, Buckhannon, W.Va., and two sons, Herbert 
J. Price, Bloomington, Md., and Robert R. Price, Cumberland.
