  PRICE
  
  William Rowe Price, 72, of Meyersdale, died May 14, 1988, Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born June 17, 1915, in Meyersdale, a son of the
  late William Clark and Viola Virginia (Van Horn) Price.  Survived by
  his wife, the former Louise Van Horn; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Parish
  of Las Cruces, N.M.; and son, William R. Price, II, Meyersdale RD 3;
  also five grandchildren.  Veteran of U.S. Navy, World War II; member
  of United Methodist Church; Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Department;
  B.P.O.E., Lodge 1951; L.O.O.M., Lodge 76; American Legion, Post 112;
  Oldtimers Baseball Association; Lodge 554, F. & A.M.; and the
  Harrisburg Consistory.  A licensed funeral director since 1938.  He
  was a second generation owner of the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale.  He had been active in N.F.D.A., P.F.D.A. and the
  Somerset County Funeral Directors Association.  He was a member of
  the Meyersdale Rotary Club.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor James L. Fish Jr.
  and Pastor Ray Gnagey officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery. 
  Memorials may take the form of contributions to the United Methodist
  Church Memorial Fund.
