DONALD PRICHARD A service was held at Hafer Frost Mansion Funeral Home, Frostburg for Mrs. Helen Irene Prichard, 51, of Star Route, Grantsville, who died Friday, Feb. 7. The Rev. George L. Wehler officiated and interment was in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland. Mrs. Prichard was born in Mt. Savage, the daughter of Lee Green, Grantsville, and Mrs. Harry (Alice) Adams, Salisbury RD 1. Also surviving are her husband, Donald O. Prichard; two sons, Larry Prichard, Star Route, Frostburg, and Donald Jay Prichard, at home, and a sister Thelma Moran, Washington, D.C. She was past president of Ladies Auxiliary to the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Company and just recently voted as an honorary member. Also past president of The American Legion Auxiliary, a member of Casselman Valley Homemakers Club, and the Grace Community Church, Cumberland. She had been a dog trainer and was a charter member of Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club. Many people had known her for her participation in the Maple Festival parades with her white horse Snow Fire.
