She was born Jan. 17, 1939, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late John and Sylvia (Rowan) Prinkey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. She is survived by sons, Dave Richter, Confluence; Scott Richter, Fort Hill; and daughters, Deborah Woods, Friedens; and Susan Fisher, Drummond, Mont.; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brothers, Clark Prinkey, White; George Prinkey; Doug Prinkey, Maryland; and Raymond Prinkey, Clearfield County; sisters, Helen Mansberry, Connellsville; Elsie Parsons and Shirley Prinkey, both of Mount Pleasant. She was a member of Calvary Community Church of Fort Hill and Somerset Local U.S. Steel Workers. After her retirement, she worked part-time for the Deer Valley YMCACamp. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, the hour of service at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. James Keslar, pastor, officiating. Interment Jersey Cemetery.
