"Bud" Pritts, 84, of New Centerville died May 27, 2000, at Somerset Hospital. Born May 12, 1916, in Rockwood, the son of the late Irvin and Minnie (Mullen) Pritts. Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Charlotte L. (Meyers), stepson Charles Stillwagner, and sisters, Charlotte Morgan and Marie Critchfield. Survived by sons Irvin Pritts, married to the former Debbie Smith, of Pittsburgh and David Pritts, married to the former Erika Beyermann, of Rockwood; grandchildren Michael and Jaquelyn Pritts; and a sister Evelyn Zufall of Reading, Calif. He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church and owner/operator of Bud's Barbershop for over 40 years. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the New Centerville and Rural Volunteer Fire Department. He loved being around people and was an avid hunter. Friends were received from 4-8 p.m. yesterday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Steve Caler officiating. Interment will be at the Union New Centerville Cemetery. There will be no viewing at the church. Daily American, May 30, 2000 [P0922]
