All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ CATHARINE PRITTS Mrs. Catharine Atchison Pritts, wife of Jacob Pritts of Garrett, died at the home of her son, Charles Pritts, early Tuesday morning, June 2, following an illness of eight weeks, due to heart trouble and dropsy. She was aged 90 years, 5 months and 28 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Atchison. There remain to mourn her loss, eight children: Mrs. Mahlon Christner, Mrs. Albert Walter, Mrs. U. S. Lape, Mrs. Lizzie Lohr, Samuel Pritts, Edward Pritts and Charles Pritts, of Garrett, and Mrs. Robert Sevits, of Somerset. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren. Mrs. Pritts was a member of Grace Reformed Church of Garrett. She was a kind and loving mother, whose chief interest was in her home and family. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 o'clock, in the Grace Reformed Church, Rev. F. D. Witmer officiating. Interment in the Ridgeview Cemetery. Undertaker J. L. Tressler of Meyersdale had charge of the funeral arrangements. Meyersdale Republican, June 11, 1931
