Pritts, 85, DeMarco Road, Boswell, (Jenner Township), died Dec. 21, 2002 at home. Born Jan. 28, 1917 in Kregar, son of Hiram and Malinda (Kunkle) Pritts. Preceded in death by parents, great-grandson Alex Shawn Jack, five sisters and five brothers. Survived by wife, the former Louise Shaulis: Children Eugene, married to the former Annie Lou Blough, Hollsopple RD, R.J., married to the former Shirley Wasnick, and Roger, both of Boswell, Linda, married to Gene Jack, with whom David resided, and Paul, married to the former Debra Friedline, Boswell RD; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and a sister Daisy Dietrick, Laughlintown. A coal miner for 19 years. A retired shooting guide for Rolling Rock Farms Game Department, Laughlintown. He would have observed his 66th wedding anniversary on Jan. 2, 2003. Charter member of the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle near Jennerstown, where he was past deacon, treasurer and Sunday school teacher. Member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club and Jenner Community Sportsmen. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and stone mason. Friends were received Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, and will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle. The Rev. C.J. Ickes and the Rev. Gary Anderson officiating. Interment, Beam Cemetery.
