He was born Oct. 2, 1894, in Black Township, a son of the late Harrison and Barbara (Romesberg) Pritts. He is survived by one son, Floyd of Rockwood; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Peggy) Enos and Mrs. Charles (Zola) Wiltrout, both of Rockwood RD 3; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Weimer of Rockwood and Mrs. Nellie Mullen of Somerset; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Minnie (Kimmel) Pritts, Nov. 10, 1969; also by his second wife, Margaret, July 23, 1982; two daughters, Violet and June; five brothers and one sister. He was a member of the UMWA Local 1742, Jennerstown. He was a lifelong member of St. John's (Sanner) Lutheran Church of Rockwood, and presently a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church of New Centerville. Friends will be received at the William J. Wood Funeral Home in Rockwood, Wednesday 7-9 p.m., 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and up until 10 a.m. Friday, when the remains will be removed to the Messiah Lutheran Church for services at 11 a.m., the Rev. Gregory Pile and the Rev. James Roth officiating. Interment to follow in Somerset County Memorial Park. Daily American, November 23, 1983 [P0948]
