Born Jan. 12, 1891, in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Wilbert Ellsworth and Eva (Hoffman) Beachy. Preceeded in death by husband, John H.; two sons, John W. and Ralph; two grandchildren; a brother, Wilbert; and a sister, Bessie. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Helene) Critchfield of Somerset and Mrs. Kathryn Hardwig of Harrisburg; also six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset, a member of the Trinity Chapter of the O.E.S. and past matron. Member of the Senior Hospital Auxiliary, past chairman of the Republican Women in Somerset County and a charter member of the Somerset Soroptimist Club. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time.
