He was born Jan. 26, 1925 in Middlecreek Township a son of the late Jeremiah and Iva (Pritts) Pritts. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Robert Jay Trimpey; son-in-law Walter Ficek; brothers Raymond, Warren and Benny and a sister Evelyn Blough. He is survived by his loving wife Garnet (Anderson) Pritts; daughters Lonna Trimpey of Confluence; Judith Dianne Ficek, and Lois Pritts both of Farmington; sons Randy Jay and wife Robin of Confluence; Tim and wife Anne of Frostburg, Md.; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother Robert Klink of Confluence. He was a loving father and the best "Pappy" this world has ever known. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Korea. A member of the Confluence VFW Post 7250; Ursina American Legion Post 946 and the Draketown Church. He was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Youghiogheny Dam. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where services willl be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Weldon Peary officiating.
