He was born Aug. 14, 1925, in Garrett, a son of the late Harry H. Pritts and Bessie A. (Deist) Pritts. He was preceded in death by son, Eric Eugene Pritts, and grandson, David Gomer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Louise (Klink) Pritts and two daughters, Linda Gomer of Meyersdale and Barbara Jean Howard of Natrona Heights. He is also survived by two grandchildren, James Gomer and Crystal Tuley and two great-grandchildren, Carey Humberson and Alexis Tuley. He was a former employee of the Marman Coal Company, Fetterolf Coal Company, and the Union Cemetery. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He attended the Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church and was a member of the UMWA and the American Legion Charles E. Kelly Post 112. He played Santa Claus for 60 years and was a beloved father and grandfather. Friends will be received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home Friday 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church, 2 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Shimer Darr officiating. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery, Garrett. Arrangements in charge of the M.
