"Hobe" Pritts, 90, of Somerset passed on March 25, 2002 at home. Born Oct. 8, 1911 in Middlecreek Township. Son of the late Henry and Sarah (Berg) Pritts. Preceded in death by parents, wife Mary Pritts, sister Nettie Reese, and brothers George, Alva, William, Lidwick, Omar, and James Pritts. Survived by daughters, Marlene, married to Robert Bittner of Somerset, and Juanita, married to George Sanner of Rockwood; grandchildren, Dennis, Brian and Brenda Bittner, and Shawn and Scott Sanner; and great-grandchildren, Alissa Bittner, John Sullivan, and Hobart Sanner, and Timothy O'Brien Sanner. He was a member of the Center Church of the Brethren in Trent. He also belonged to the Trent Rod and Gun Club, the Rockwood American Legion Post 279, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1801. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.
