He was born Oct. 8, 1941, in Summit Mills, the son of Ellis Pritts, Meyersdale, and the late Alma (Ross) Pritts. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Patricia L. (Fisher) Pritts, a daughter, Jackie Pritts, of Fayetteville; a son, William Gloe, Jr., of Salisbury; three brothers, Ellis Pritts Jr., Lancaster; Ralph Pritts, Salisbury; and Ray Pritts, Elyria, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Eunice Walters, Laredo, Texas; Rose Ellen Pritts and Mrs. Carol Kyle, both of Meyersdale; Mrs. Janet Heller, Johnstown; and one grandson. He was an Army veteran; a member of the Salisbury American Legion and was a construction foreman for the Orrie Construction Company, LaVale, Md. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
