Born Jan. 17, 1915, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Edward E. "Pop" Penrod of Somerset, Pa., and Leona Tisch Penrod of Germany. She had attended the Rock Forge Presbyterian Church. Survived by her husband, Arthur L. Propst; one son, David A. Propst of Manassas, Va.; one daughter, Dr. L. Rebecca Propst of Portland, Ore.; and four grandsons. Preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Penrod and Albert Penrod, and one sister, Mildred "Babe" Sauer. Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, W. Va., on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. James Giesey officiating.
