    Katherine S. "Sis" Pucci, 79, West Garrett Street, Somerset, died
  Sept. 3, 1996, in Somerset Hospital.  Born Oct. 2, 1916, in Somerset,
  a daughter of Harry and Mary Elizabeth (Rooney) Snyder.  Preceded in
  death by her husband, Eleno J. "Pete" Pucci; a daughter, Bonnie Jo,
  and these brothers and sisters:  Elizabeth Smith, Willa Jean, Harry
  "Bus" and Joseph P.  Survived by one son, Edward L. Sr., married to
  the former Linda Shreckengost, Somerset; six grandchildren: Edward L.
  Jr., Somerset; Timothy, Friedens; Peter and Christopher, both of
  Somerset; Elizabeth Sullivan, Manheim, and Kathleen Moravecz,
  Ebensburg.  Also nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Helen, wife
  of Eugene Pile of Friedens.  She was a member of St. Peter's Roman
  Catholic Church, Somerset.  Somerset Hospital auxiliary volunteer for
  many years.  Retired from former Somerset State Hospital dietary
  department.  Member of 55 and Over Speeders.  Formerly employed at
  American Legion and Oakhurst Tea Room.  She was an avid bingo
  player.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake service
  will be conducted at 3:45 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 p.m.
  Friday in St. Peter's Church, Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating. 
  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to St. Peter's
  Roman Catholic Church.
