Born Dec. 15, 1942, at Bittinger, Md., he was a son of Daniel Leroy and Olive Kathryn (Brenneman) Puffinburg, Springs. Mr. Puffinburg attended Central Assembly of God and was the church league softball coach. He was a self-employed insurance appraiser. In addition to his parents, he is survived by 3 daughters: Christina Georgantas, Tammy Gnagey and Teshia Puffinburg, all of Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, James Puffinburg, Springs; 2 sisters: Mary Brant, Springs, and Lois Ann Butler, Grantsville, Md., and 2 grandsons: Nicholas and Michael Georgantas. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Springs Mennonite Church, with Rev. Gary Butler and Rev. Steven Heatwole officiating. Interment, Springs Cemetery.
