Born Feb. 29, 1904 in Hollsopple, the daughter of Robert Garfield and Emma Imelda (Custer) Pugh. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Sibyl V. Bennett, who died June 3, 2000; granddaughter, Kathleen Bennett Vogel; brothers, Bert, Donald, Warren and Dale Pugh and sisters, Violet Turney and Maude Will. Survived by grandsons, Michael R. Bennett of Ironville, Pa., Jerry A. Bennett of North Lawrence, Ohio and Thomas D. Bennett of Somerset; 11 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Gladys Faidley of Somerset, Mrs. Dorothy Ogline of Hershey, Pa. and Mrs. Grace Dallas of Kansas City, Kan. Member of First United Methodist Church of Somerset, 1922 graduate of Somerset High School. Retired in 1967 as a bookkeeper for Somerset Door and Column Co., with 47 years of service. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.
