  Lavan E. Pugh, 31, of Friedens RD 2, dead on arrival June 14, 1975,
  at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 12, 1944, in Somerset, son
  of James E. and Bernice (Lear) Pugh.  Preceded in death by father in
  1961.  Preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pugh. 
  Survived by mother, Somerset RD 2; widow, the former Bonnie Diane
  Emerick; and three children:  Tammy Jo, Bernell Eugene and Bonnie
  Diane, all at home.  Brother of Doanld and Roger, both of Somerset RD
  2; Mrs. Jeanette Miller, Widham, Ohio; Connie, wife of Wendall Helman,
  Rockwood RD; James, Listie; William, Somerset RD 1; Wayne, Somerset;
  and Linda, wife of Ron Coddington, Johnstown; and maternal
  grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lear, Johnstown.  Was an employe of
  Solar Fuel Company, Geiger.  Friends received after 7 p.m. Monday at
  the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where
  service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Fred Walter
  officiating.  Interment IOOF Cemetery, Berlin.
