Pugh, 77, Jenners, died Dec. 28, 2002 at his home. Born Nov. 9, 1925 in Somerset, son of Howard and Ruth (Hottle) Pugh. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Marguerite A. Murphy on Oct. 11, 1998; brother Sheldon and sister, Rebecca Mitchell. Survived by children, Mary Louise "Kitty," married to Joseph Kowalczyk, Boswell, Linda K., married to Gary Franklin, Odenton, Md., Richard A. "Dick," married to former Margaret Trevarrow, Somerset, Karen Lee, married to Timothy Krouse, Jenners, Ellen Ruth Timulak, Cairnbrook, and Kelly Anne, married to Donald McDaniels, Somerset; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Hilda Pritts, Somerset, and "granddog" Snowball. A U.S. Army medic during World War II, having received the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with one Bronze Star and Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star. Retired employee of former U.S. Steel Corp., Johnstown Works. He was an avid hunter. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Barry K. Ritenour officiating.
