Pugh, 68, of Johnstown, died Aug. 26, Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born May 20, 1906, in Milford Township, Somerset County, a daughter of Cyrus and Susan Walter Friedline. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Pugh, one daughter, one sister and three brothers. Survived by these children: Mrs. Robert (Mary Pearle) Tipton and Richard R. Pugh, both of Lancaster; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Clara Smith, Connellsville. Was a member of Price Lutheran Church, Westmont, and of the Helping Hand class, and a nurse's aide with the Red Cross for nine years. Friends received after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Interment, Husband Cemetery. Somerset American, August 27, 1974 [P1081]
