  Ruth D. Pugh, 83, Somerset RD 8, died Oct. 28, 1984, in Lee Hospital,
  Johnstown.  Born Dec. 23, 1900, in Saumsville, Va., daughter of late
  William Luther and Lena (Lamberson) Hottle.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Howard A.; two brothers and one sister.  Survived
  by these children: Rebecca, wife of Herbert Mitchell, Somerset RD 8;
  Sheldon Sr., married to former Lorna Avery, Friedens RD 1; Merle,
  married to former Margurite Murphy, Jenners; and Hilda, wife of
  Donald Pritts, Somerset RD 5; also 12 grandchildren; 10
  great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  Sister of Robert
  Hottle and Alma Ringler, both of Somerset; and John Hottle and Evelyn
  Moon, both of Friedens RD 1.  Member of Somerset Church of the
  Brethren.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday (today) and
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, the
  Rev. Max DeArmey officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
