    Sheldon L. Pugh Sr., 76, of Ashtabula, Ohio, formerly of Friedens
  RD (Acosta), died Aug. 20, 1999, at the Ashtabula County Medical
  Center.  Born April 18, 1923, in Somerset Township, son of Howard and
  Ruth (Hottle) Pugh.  Preceded in death by parents and first wife, the
  former Lorna J. Avery, April 29, 1990.  Survived by wife, the former
  Ruby (Bowman) Kelly, formerly of Somerset; children Sandy, wife of
  John Ringler, Friedens RD, Sheldon L. Jr., married to Pat Williams,
  Somerset RD, Judy, wife of Charles Mayse, Boswell RD, and Gail Rea,
  Friedens RD; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Also
  survived by stepchildren, Barry Shaffer, Barbara, wife of Charles
  Scott, and Jeffrey Kelly, married to Suzanne Meaney, all of
  Ashtabula, Tracey, wife of Bruce Cory, Kingsville, Ohio, and Douglas
  Kelly, married to Kimberly Rain, Thurmont, Md.; 15 step-grandchildren
  and two step-great-grandchildren.  Brother of Rebecca Mitchell,
  Somerset, Merle Pugh, Jenners, and Hilda Pritts, Somerset.  A 1943
  graduate of Somerset High School.  Member of Jenner Grace Brethren
  Church and the USWA.  Former member of the Somerset County Wheelers
  'n' Dealers Square Dance Club.  Retired employee of Latrobe Steel. 
  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Viewing also from 11 a.m. until the time
  of service at noon, Wednesday at Jenner Grace Brethren Church.  The
  Rev. Richard H. Cornwell officiating.  Interment Jenner Cross Roads
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jenner
  Grace Brethren Church, Jenners, 15546.
