Born April 28, 1914, in Summit Township. Son of the late Charles and Grace (Shultz) Pugh. Preceded in death by two children: Barbara Jean and James Pugh and a sister, Myrtle Habel; a great grandson, Bradley Maust. Survived by wife, the former Suzanna Jane Miller, to whom he was married for 58 years, and these children: Mrs. Bruce A. (Connie L.) Grine Sr., Friedens RD 2; William M. Pugh Jr., married to the former Susan Reynolds, Somerset, and David L. Pugh, married to the former Sharon Friedline, Somerset; grandchildren: Mrs. Greg (Gale) Maust, Friedens RD 2; Bruce Grine Jr., Lancaster; Michael Murphy, Lantana, Fla; Billie Jo Pugh, Elkland; William Pugh III and Brandon, Justin, Lindsay and Brittany Pugh, all of Somerset. Also great-grandchildren, Megan, Derek and Kayla Maust. Brother of Daniel Pugh, Meyersdale; Silas Pugh, Wellersburg; Mrs. Allan (Mary) Otto, Springs; Mrs. Oral (Susan) Ulin, Wellman, Iowa. Retired machinist from Celanese Fiber Co., Cumberland, Md. Retiring in 1980. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset; Somerset Lodge 358, F.&.A.M.; Altoona Consistory, and Jaffa Shrine. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.
