  MRS. CHARLES A. PURBAUGH
  
    Mrs. H. Alcinda Purbaugh, 82, of 509 Vine St., Connellsville, died
  Nov. 27, in Connellsville State General Hospital.
    Born in Northampton Township, Somerset County, she was a daughter
  of the late W. Jackson and Ellen Jane (Poorbaugh) Meyers.  She has
  lived in Connellsville for the past 30 years, and was a former school
  teacher in Northampton Township and Garrett.
    She was a member and past president of the Woman's Culture Club of
  Connellsville; a member of the Phillip Freeman Chapter DAR, the Bushy
  Run Chapter of Daughters of American Colonists and of the United
  Presbyterian Church, Connellsville.
    Her husband, Charles A. Purbaugh, survives; also a son, Clarion A.,
  of Pompano Beach Fla.; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren;
  and two sisters: Mrs. Harry Love, North Omstead, Ohio, and Mrs. Frank
  Kidwell, Glencoe.  A daughter, Loreen, preceded her in death in 1950.
    Funeral service will be held this (Thursday) morning at Brooks
  Funeral Home, Connellsville, with Rev. William Sheldon Blair
  officiating.  Interment will be made in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe
  RD 1.
